A wheel is a rotating component (typically circular in shape) intended to turn on an axle bearing. The wheel is one of the key components of the wheel and axle which is one of the six simple machines. Wheels, in conjunction with axles, allow heavy objects to be moved easily facilitating movement or transportation while supporting a load, or performing labor in machines. I'mi have a 74 plate MG5 Trophy LR, have had it for a year and a half, now on almost 26,000 miles. Over the last week it seems to have developed a bit of a noise at motorway speeds. Can only describe it as a dull roar, almost like an increase in road noise. It definitely sounds like a...- tonymc
