wheel discolouration
**Wheel discolouration** refers to a change or alteration in the original color or finish of a vehicle’s wheel (rim). This can occur due to factors such as brake dust buildup, heat from braking, corrosion, chemical reactions with road salts or cleaners, oxidation, or prolonged exposure to environmental elements. It may appear as staining, darkening, fading, yellowing, or patchy marks on the wheel surface.
Anyone experienced discolouration/oxidisation of the wheels on their HS PHEV? Mine is 6 months old with 3750 miles on the clock and the rear offside wheel is badly discoloured/marked as can be seen in the attached photographs. It’s only that one wheel - the others all appear o k at this time...
