I'm enjoying my new ride. Only had him (yes, definitely a him!) for a week but getting used to it.

A few odd things - I was playing tunes from a usb stick - with a converter and we noticed that the tempo would change. I know you can cause the volume to change with respect to the speed but tempo??

Another one - I select lots of settings but on returning to the car the next time, they have gone back ....e.g. lane departure, nice to be warned but not assisted. I had to avoid a warning triangle (mobile works ahead) and the car tried to stop me.
I switched it to warning only but the next day it reverted. Maybe I have to long press to "save" it?
The same thing happens with ERS.

Otherwise it's great. Tried the crab parking. Worked a treat. Tried the super fast charger - got 108kW but at over 80p/kWh I won't be using that often.

I think that is standard with these ‘safety’ features.

Have you put an SD card in to record the video? If so can you tell us what it records. That is just front or does it include rear and/or 360 deg?

Hi, just had a look. It seems it's just the front view.
I took a video but the site doesn't seem to allow MP4 files.

Uploaded some YoutTube videos - the screen animation and the air con adjustment

Hi
Ongoing list of irritations/likes

Dab radio is not very sensitive - often fails to get a signal but it does revert to FM.
It also doesn't display any music info

All the safety features are fully on.
You have to deselect them each time - driving on narrow Pembrokeshire roads means doing this on each trip.

USB memory stick music is great but you'll need an adapter for usb c.

Someone else has reported that their car did not come with carpets…… did yours?

Thanks for the information.

I did wonder about disabling the ADAS features. The MGS5 made a big step forward with the ability to save and restore MG Pilot settings with a few touches.

But nothing was mentioned about the IM vehicles and they are a completely different platform. So I did wonder if they left this off.

I am assuming it doesn't have User Profiles at all?

Oh yes. Very nice ones too!
@KnightRider - RE the carpets question. In the LR demonstrator I test drove, the carpets were the general purpose short pile type as seen in most cars these days, not the plush looking ones in the reviews (or, indeed your own, by the sound of it).
The salesman was under the impression that the plush carpeting seen in those reviews was, in fact, the optional MG mats. Are yours actual carpets or the optional mats? I'd like to be forewarned when I eventually get to pick up mine!

They are just mats but very nice ones. With the MG IM5 logo. The rear mats are just one long mat!
