Nor BYD. The only chinese car was that blue NIO supercar. Also, no budget price cars. Apart from that though, it was nice to see a program promoting the electric car, rather than using all the old myths to dismiss them.

The middle one was the one on last night, the other two are hatchet jobs probably commissioned by the fossil fuel industry.

Another EV program from Channel 5 tonight at 8 o'clock, but having seen the trailer for it, it looks like it might be another hachet job.

Some stupid person asks; "if you're in the middle of nowhere and you break down, what are you going to do?" Well isn't that the same answer for any type of vehicle? Call the AA, RAC, Green Flag, or any other roadside rescue service.

We'll see.

There was a feature on Morning Live yesterday morning about brand new cars breaking down and the problems which follow ... they seemed to take great delight in saying "electric car" every 2 seconds (exaggerated) as the person they featured had a BEV. Starts at 15:12 ...

Just seen the trailer for tonight's show, and I saw an Orange MG4, so I'll be watching it.

As for the girl squealing 'what happens if you break down in the middle of nowhere', well that's just hilarious.

I saw the last one and was not overly impressed, the budget cars were all too expensive, I just found that it was quite shallow and like above did not cover UpToDate cars. Shame as it could have been so much better, will watch again (sucker for punishment) but not getting too excited

This is your regular public service reminder that Canute knew perfectly well he couldn't stop the tide, and was providing a graphic object lesson to his sycophantic courtiers.

I think it must have been his sycophantic courtiers who made that program. They even had the audacity to say that all facts were accurate at time of broadcast, when in the introduction they stated that the government were stopping people driving petrol and diesel vehicles in 2030, which they are not. It was so anti EV, they even made the good bits sound negative.

A lot of the things they were highlighting applied to all vehicles, not just EV's.

When they produce these programs, they must have target audience in mind . On a little late for most 5 year olds , not that they could obtain a vehicle of any description of the choices given , so missed the mark as far as programming goes. In a hour of nothingness I did learn that ICE cars sound better on a motorway!! so not entirely wasted.
