My car ZsEv trophy long range seems to lose activation from time to time.
When I manually activate it it can take a few goes.

I have wifi enabled and it sometimes happens at home. Should I switch I off wifi?

Have you managed to sort this as I have the same problem
 
it comes & goes. It always resets so I will ask at the annual service. I suspect it is loss of connectvity to the MG server. We are in a mobile bad spot & the wifi isn't always perfect.
 
I've not had this yet but but does losing 'activation' mean the car has become 'unbound'? How would you reactivate it?
My ZS is regularly 'Requiring Activation' - not sure why but possibly poor GSM signal around my Portuguese home. The car remains bound, the only consequence is that some functionality is lost until I (re) activate - for example: stored routes. I only know the activation has become 'undone' when I try to access one of those functions.

I had a look today. For me (2023 ZS EV LR Lux), the only need to scan a QR was not for activation but for Login to my account. (Re)activation was just a question of pressing the on-screen button.

My 2023 Zs Trophy connect LR has had this problem from new, every time it goes in for a service I inform them, it also always announces my date as 2019 then later in the day it is correct. The traffic announcements have never worked, I have give-up asking. The activation is a simple on screen process, but normally requires a few attempts.
