Adapter to use car to power other appliances

Hi All

Has anyone else seen the Carwow reviews of certain EVs where they plug in a microwave or on another site review a hedge trimmer into the type two charging socket on the car via an adapter. Are these spoof or is there such a device? One car I think its the KIA EV6 has a three pin socket in passenger compartment for running appliances (a coffee maker in the review).

It can be done but only if the car has been designed and built to support it.
You can't do it with an MG5.

It is certainly is possible, depending on individual design features of the EV in guess.
I think the Honda E has a three pin plug adaptor inside the cabin !.
