I've just seen the new advert for the Frontera EV and the only details that it mentioned was that it was electric, had lights and seemed to be made of lego.

Have I missed something?

Are there any other adverts that seem to forget to advertise the product?

Aren't such adverts "designed" to make you want to seek additional information, i.e., go online to see what the product is all about?

Most adverts are about here is a THING that is amazing and will make your life so much better. Then it is down to you to do your due diligence. None of the original VW iD3 adverts pointed out you couldn't see the temperature controls in the dark.

Look at all the financial product adverts that cram in all the regulatory information into tiny text at the bottom of the screen or use a really fast speaking narrator to fit it in at the end.

At least it tried to get a selling point across, "look at all this space" or something.

The Audi advert with people singing inside is far worse. Apparently it's supposed to showcase the sunroof - you'd barely know from watching it. I thought sunroofs were throwbacks to the days before climate control in any case...

Must admit, love a Sunroof, specially a Panoramic one. Shame the MG4 hasn't got one. Would've been nice as an option. 🙂👍

Ironic that they sing "I like to move it move it" in a stationary car. King Julian would not approve

My neighbours have a KIA SUV with a sunroof. Just as it came out of warranty it broke and wouldn't shut without manual assistance and was getting harder to do each time. KIA wouldn't even look at it.

Yep, s'pose as with anything, shit happens. But in general Sunroofs are fine.
My last car was a 14 year old Mercedes with a Pan Roof, still working fine when I sold it. 🙂👍
