Apple Car-play

Hello to you all, I have just purchased MG ZS EV Trophy, having issues with the Apple car-play, have had sever long conversations with Apple, unfortunately the car-player will not work using my iphone xs max or any other Apple phones, anybody out there suffered the same….

It could be the cable you are using, I purchased these on a recommendation of a member on this forum and they work perfectly :

Thank you, Apple technician have advised me to purchase Apple manufactured cable waiting for the cable to arrive, hopefully will solve the problem, message on the car screen, check USB settings on your phone?
