Apple CarPlay Freezing Screen

I have a new Trophy Connect Long Range.
3 times now after approx half an hour of plugged in Apple CarPlay the whole screen freezes.
This is a problem as have to reboot and relock the car to reset the screen.

Has anyway else experienced this or know a way to reboot the car screen while driving?

Just hold down the home button (LHS button) on the screen for about 15 seconds to reboot the screen.

Yes, I've often had the same thing happen. As @rpannell advised, the home button will reset it for you.
