Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

My insurance repudiated my claim for the conservatory doors that were destroyed by the storm on the grounds that there was some rot there already, and it's going to set me back close on £3,000 to get new ones fitted. Ouch. I hope it can be done soon because I've already waited a while, and I can't get out of my back door at the moment. But it's in hand.

No big deal, but interestingly I'm not getting notifications for updates to this thread (which I have previous posts in).... maybe it's because this thread was created from our off-topic wanderings on @Rolfe's other thread and the notification mechanism within Zenforo only triggers when one adds a new post. Will see if I start getting notifications again now.

Well I charged the Citroen to it’s 80% battery magnificence for £1.33 to have it amping at the bit and ready for an epic road trip to a historic area linked to industrial power over the years. I travelled to Kinniel House. Behind the main house is a cottage where James Watt once lived and worked on steam engines. I parked in front of the big house where some of the world’s finest motor shows happen and also the magnificent oldest Hillclimb racing takes place with the worlds finest steam railway museum running steam engines right alongside automotive marvels from every age.

But today it was only the Citroen and me, two miles from home en route to Tesco for my fruit ‘n veg.
Lovely day though.

Just home from Livingston where I met Daughter and her dog for lunch. I’ve plugged the car in for a basic 10% top up to around 80% but there’s a possibility I might change that to the full 100% later on. I might just go to Fort William tomorrow for fun / a wee road trip or perhaps even to stay over for a night or two.
