Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

We need to know a bit more about these Landrovers ?
That’s just it really, the whole story. Two beautiful rugged off road Landrovers. Both finished in black. I just had to have both, couldn’t bear the thought of just taking one and forever wondering where the other ended up. Between that and my recent purchase of the two matching electric bikes my family are worried about the possibility of me having early onset bimentia 🙄

Just been road testing my Landrovers 🤩

I'm waiting for the reconstruction of going up the dam wall...

Tried that but me damn string broke. Here’s the best I could do after my Covid and flu jabs earlier today. It’s hard making me and the landies out due to the funny lighting and those bloomin’ trees but I can assure you the crispy chicken wrap on the menu today was absolutely lovely. And they do serve grand coffee too 😉

OK I give up. I can't find you, I think you're hiding.
Changed the lighting and increased contrast.
The only thing is a van in the foreground, but I think that's a service vehicle not the berlingo

Ah sorry but as I said the chicken wrap was too tempting and I was actually in the cafe avoiding all forms of exertion whilst blaming broken string 🤣.

First service for Berlingo this morning - ticky ticky tick all down the page four tyres at 5mm - spare tyre at 8mm.
All brake pads at 10mm.
They replaced the fuses I blew on the 12 volt sockets with a crappy old light.
Car washed.
Total invoice £0.00.
Happy driver so far so I’ve treated myself to lunch at Dobbies in Stirling where they’re doing a Christmas lunch - first of 2025 strangely enough. And it was delicious 👌
When I get home I think I’ll treat Berlingo to a slap up tethered Wattfest 👍

I’m guessing whoever did the test run after the service on the Berlingo yesterday drove it hard in power mode ? I’ve noticed he /she used around 20 - 25 kWh and knocked my economy figure back from the steady 3.7 it’s been at all year down to 1.3 !!! Today on a short trip I’ve coaxed it back to 2.1. I might go back in and have words with them.
Noticing all the snow on the hills puts me in the notion of some all season tyres.
I’ve seen Kormoran S3 tyres advertised. They are apparently made by Michelin and cost about half the price. The look very like Crossclimates and I’m wondering if they could in fact be CC2’s being sold off now that Michelin are on SS3’s ??
Must investigate further but wonder if anyone here has some knowledge of them ?
