Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

Today’s adventure takes me to Clydebank Glasgow. It’s roasting hot (well- 18 C) and very pleasant.
So, now your are nice and comfy in your 18°C Glasgow ..... where is our bus story .....

Today I'm merely heading for Peebles, to spend about five hours in an arts centre watching a live opera relay from Covent Garden.
What did you do wrong to have to sit for 5 hrs watching an opera on a screen? I'm sure it couldn't have been bad enough to suffer a punishment like that ....... Things like that can scar a person for life ......

Oh yes - the tale of the keys and the bus trail 🤔.
I really must find time before I forget just how many keys, buses, oranges and deer were actually involved there. I’ve been busy though. Just today as mentioned I took in tropical Clydebank. I was seeking out and finally purchasing an epic upgrade for Berlingo. Nothing to do with its performance on the tarmac. Goodness knows Citroen endowed it with all the performance one expects from its Xtr badging. I’ve spent time this afternoon thoroughly washing the vehicle for the first time in ages. I might even clean out the interior properly after carting loads of logs for a friend. Then the upgrade can begin. Sadly, however, before that I have to head out to pick up my new glasses and replenish my porridge oat stash. The meticulous planning is progressing well, the actual action perhaps less so.
Fear not though, as soon as I realise what’s going on I shall tell all 🤣.
Hey, what’s the special offers going on at filling stations? As I serenely drove on my way today I noticed throngs of “proper” cars clamouring to get off the road and on to the forecourts.
I’m in the midst of shelling out £1.09 topping up the battery after today’s fine drive.

I'm an absolute addict. I'm currently scouring the cinema listings to see if I can organise to go to an encore showing next week - and only partly because we lost the last ten minutes of act 1 to a satellite glitch.

I was at another opera of similar length in Livingston a week ago. And as it's Good Friday in a couple of days I'll be getting out my DVDs of yet another to watch at home.

No I don't know why they chose that picture for the box cover.

Ah yes, addiction, addicts will go to extraordinary lengths and incredible suffering for a "fix" ..... You have my sympathy .... I guess there aren't many rehab places for Opera Addiction (AO) should we start a go fund me account towards helping those afflicted?

Medics required down under please - impending fat lip trauma.

It won't be the first and I doubt the last smack in the mouth by an enraged female .... they were all good looking as well, so the trend might continue till my demise ... it will be a closed coffin affair, no point in giving them all the chance at a last shot where I can't at least attempt to get out of the way before it lands ;) :D

I was wondering, on the DVD cover photo, is he complaining about there not being a top pocket in his pyjamas?
