Archev's adventures in the Berlingo

The classic roof mount with string 🤣

Are the panels charging an inverter power pack? I'm not sure if the Berlingo can do V2L
No I have a pair of Vtoman portable power stations in tandem behind the passenger seat.
I did ask about the built in unit but though apparently available in the commercial vehicles, for some inexplicable reason they couldn’t fit up the Xtr. It would have been handy and saved space. I have had a rough measure but I don’t think they’d go under the bonnet.
I have a full sized spare wheel and tyre in a cradle under the rear floor so that corner isn’t available either.

Just heading to the Walled Garden for lunch.
Redeployed solar panels to grab a bit more. A bit Heath Robinson but was down to about 40 and already at 70 and will rise as the sun tracks.
I’d forgotten the haddock chowder they serve here has little cubes of apple in it - absolutely delicious 👌

Had a quick look at their website. They've got some good bundled offers on packs and panels at the moment.
Do you run a fridge from them as well?
If not I'd recommend the BougeRV range of compressor fridges. I bought a 20L version with powerpack last year, very efficient. Just running on its own 17Ah battery it lasts a long time, I would think you'd get a day or more out of it with both (fridge and battery) in eco mode. And you could couple it to the Vtoman's USB C output to keep the fridge battery topped up as they support the latest variable voltage outputs. Being compressor they'll achieve -20c.

Hold on here, are we talking about recharging a small portable power pack here, or the EV battery .... not enough panels there to bring the EV battery from 40% to 70% in a mth of Sun days ;)

Eh hang onn

hang on a solar charging minute there. I did forget to put units after my 40 and 70, my bad sorry. They’re just plain wee Watts but I love them dearly, each and every one. Still streets in front of gas cylinders 🤩
PS it’s roasting here and hotter for next 2 / 3 days 😎🥵

No I’ve got a 28 litre cool box from Goawayoutdoors.

And another thing!!!
That’s two nights I’ve slept on this fisherman’s bed/ chair and haven’t had so much as a nibble 😡
What bait are they suggesting 🤔

What is the capacity of your leisure battery, and of your e-bike's battery?

I've got a refrigerated cool box from Lidl that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket. As the car is on all night, that can run all night. Milk will last at least five days.
