Are "self charging hybrids" more economical?

My car’s service intervals are annual, with a major service every two years (24000 miles).

In fact Hybrids, self-charging or otherwise are worst of both ICE and BEV.

Yep- that’s fine for me as I do 8000 personal and 1000 business miles per year

Probably would for me now too . At the time i had the hybrid is was volunteering for Cancer and the Ambulance Service covering at least 20,000 miles ( not £s) a year

Yes, 100% they are more economical, not the Mild Hybrid type, but full hybrid yes.

I've looked at and test drove a Toyota Corolla, a very clever bit of engineering.
