Is that the new US term for accepting bribes? He backs down big time when anyone pulls the court hearing card, he can't handle being humiliated and then defeated on public record, so he avoids court hearing at any cost.
I doubt he could find anyone silly enough to represent him these days anyway, he never pays and quite a few of them have had their reputations shredded by offer "alternate facts" as evidence without ever actually verifying these "facts" are correct and getting a number of independent reliable sources to back up these "facts" in writing to the court ....

I can see a number of countries simply expropriating any Trump assets once he his dragged from his throne and seizing any assets for lack of payment .... even if they have to do a Trump and fabricate a bill ......
As for him finding a safe haven to run away and hide from his crimes ..... who would want him in their country when he can't do anything for them or apply any sort of pressure against them ......

This view on a recent complete bungle by the current US govt, tells the story only to well regarding the US fall from the mighty empire it thought it once was

Fancy being stupid enough to threaten the place the houses the US eyes and ears in this part of the world ..... they couldn't even do the Moon mission without Australia how do they think they can cover their butts without Australia's cooperation ....

Push up the price of oil to improve the sell price for the stuff they pump out of the ground in the US and make it worth the money for US Big Oil to rebuild the Venezuelan oil infrastructure .... and help out him mate Putin with his financial problems ......

Seems Trump, Vance and the TV presenter come minister for war, have "really screwed the pooch" this time.
No one will come and help him clear the straits of Hormuz after Trump posted on his social media site that lot of countries are getting involved, even more embarrassment for the big round orange man .... it now seems, no country is interested in cleaning up the mess he has made ...

I guessing they are hoping Iran will see they are not supporting Trump and might let some of their ships through .... on the condition that none of it goes to the USA .....

Blair listened, Blair acted, Blair looked like a fool . Why would we fall for the US rhetoric , especially one which is based on demented thinking again. The arrogant school bully and his lapdog the US president who have said they have achieved the absolute military advantage ? but not yet political, have every right to back down before facing a war crimes court . Why would any right thinking nation want to get involved in partnership with them.
Protecting innocent commercial shipping and neighbouring states has its merits , but not under the command structure which would be demanded by the dominant aggressor and fair weather ally who want an extension to their own forces.
As 90% of Iranian oil goes to China it does make you think that trump and his cronies are trying to poke them into a reaction , and Iran is just a proxy war as one of the pre-cursors to the big event?

It seems these days, he can't remember what he was saying, while he's saying it o_O
Now he is looking for someone to blame for the war ever being started in the first place. No one seemed to remember they had just retired all the mine sweepers and the new replacement system hadn't even been tried in earnest, more just a sales promotion demo by the manufacturers.
Not that it really makes much difference, they can't operate while still under fire and Iran can lay the mines at different depths, faster than the new tech systems would be able to destroy them .......

Now it seems, Cash Patel, the Trump approved head of the FBI, fired all the agents that were investigating the Iranian links with Epstein and no one was actually updating any of Iranian intel for fear of also being sacked ....

I think his minders that put him where he is, told him that attacking Iran and killing their leader, would be a decisive blow and force up oil prices short term so they could sell the stuff they pump out of the ground for a lot more money than they were getting for it before ...... that will make America rich and put his name in the history books, the voters would be so excited by all this money coming and all the cash handouts he could promise in the lead up to the mid terms .....

He is an idiot and has surrounded himself with idiots, those pulling the strings in the background remain nameless, but still get the big $$ for the oil they are selling

What he didn't know was that most American oil refineries are built to handle the heavier oil from the Middle East and they need it to add to their own oil to refine it into fuel.

Now he's found out he's panicking because the price of crude oil is impacting on American fuel prices so he needs to unblock the Straits of Hormuz asap to keep his MAGA* supporters happy.

The US refinaries actually rely on Canadian oil, and that's going to China now.
They could send the oil they pump out of the ground to Singapore to be refined and bring it back to supply the fuel for the American people ..... but that won't make big $$ for the people pulling his strings ...... so I can't see that happening any time soon.
They had two ships full of Venezuelan oil they captured, but rather than process it in the US to feed their refineries, Trump sold it and the money is in accounts some where neutral ...... supposed to be divided up between Venezuela and the US treasury ..... but other things have happened since so that doesn't rate as news any more :rolleyes:
If the American people ever wake up to what has really been going on, they will feel swindles and cheated and they all have guns ......

As Robert Llewellyn points out in a recent podcast with Dan Ceasar, Tango Man thought that ousting the Iranian regime would be as easy as it was ousting the Venezualan regime. Hasn't quite worked out like that though.
