I see the latest play by Trump is in the midst of collapsing because Iran isn't stupid enough to believe anything Trump says.
As a result of this senseless war, The Iranians have gained control over the Straits of Hormuz that they didn't have before, and have now added the "Ayatollah Booth" that every ship passing either way must pay a hefty to be escorted through that area, that will only enrich Iran further while the US continues to bleed red ink on their balance sheet and no recovery in sight, the "Petrodollar" scheme is now in tatters and will never return ......
Israel will be the biggest loser in this mess, they keep poking the bear and it keeps getting crankier and increasing the level of attack ....

Kissinger was the man behind the Petrodollar, Trump was the destruction of it.
Trumps life time of lies, not paying anyone who didn't seriously threaten to finish him and real estate bully boy tactics, seemed to make him think he was good at business.
Without the TV show The Apprentice and the complete fabricated history the shows producers pumped out about what a great businessman he was, he would have remained in the realms of the failed B/S artist that he actually was .... his belief in the story they had developed about him as being real, has produced the DJT we are being punished with today.
Add a broken political system that even the people who live there thought held checks and balances, but are actually paper tigers scared of being exposed for what they really are, and you have a superpower guided by a group of the very rich pulling the strings on a demented puppet ....

The story of the fence post tortoise comes to mind ..... easy to see it didn't get there under their own ability, clearly doesn't belong there and can do nothing but wave their head and other parts about, while waiting for whoever put it there to move it onto the next thing it has no real idea about.

That would only work if he didn't live in fools paradise, spend more than you have or can earn, to make you appear far wealthier than you actually are ..... he has never been able to live within a budget, he can't run a country even close to a balanced budget, he believes all that glitters is gold, so crypto $$ are real in his eyes, claims something worth $5m as being worth $15m, while owing $20m in refinanced loans, and he really believes that property means he has $15m in his back pocket ....

That is both chilling and something that should be mandatory viewing throughout the world, not just the USA.
It's far too easy to say it can't happen here, too easy to say it's just extremists, the threat of Communism, the extreme left, religious extremism and similar scare propaganda. These tags belong just as to the far right, Conservatism and maybe religion and maybe even certain types of Monarchy, a conservative Monarchy works, as long as they stay out of politics ...... can there be such a thing?

It's clear a political system that can buy their way to power is not going to be there for the people, just there for the people who supplied the money to buy the position of power over the other people that actually voted to put them into power in the first place .....

For every idea of becoming the masters in the USA, there are 5 different people with the money to buy it and 10 with the backing of enough people to enforce it. what would the modern day Paul Revere ride to rally the people? A monster American 4X4 or a Harley, or an electric something, so he could sneak around without being heard two states over ......

I doubt even each state would hold together and fight as one, Alaska and all the border states would switch allegiance to either Canada or Mexico and head hunt any in their area who still wanted to stay with the old system.
