I suspect doubtful as we are now an outlier, with no battery factories, and they already have links with VW.

Plus we're no longer in the EU, so there's no real benefit for them to build a plant in the UK.

They do say Europe which doesn't include the UK any more. More likely
Eastern Europe as labour costs are far lower. Still, it will hopefully bring down delivery times.

Puttting pedant hat on. We are still in Europe and unless the tectonic plates get a spurt on we will remain so for the next millennium. What we are no longer in is the European Union.
