Black screen

Hello everyone, I’ve noticed that the central screen of my MG3 Hybrid+ stays black when starting the car after it has been parked in the sun for a long time, even though the sound still works. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I haven't noticed it on my car but I have encountered the same problems in my previous job in the light rail industry where the vehicle was stabled with the direct sun on the driver's display screen the screen would stay blank till the temperature decreased there may be a thermostatic cut out built into the software to protect the screen with you living in Tunisia the direct sun and the heat coming from the plastic dash will probably raise the temperature excessively i have a Dash mat purchased from Australia to cover the top of the dashboard to reduce the heat you could also try covering the windscreen and side windows with reflective covers to block the sun hope this helps

Not sure if it was sun related, but mine has done this a couple of times. A reset by pressing the home button for 10 seconds cures it. If it continues to do it often, a visit to your dealer is in order!
