Cabin pre-heat

Hi,
Can I pre-heat the cabin via the app in the ZS Hybrid+
The MG website says "Pre-set climate for your next trip" but I'm unsure if that is "set what the ac will start at" or "the cabin will actually be this temperature when I get in".
If it is indeed a pre-heat - does this start the petrol engine?

Hi Nemorton,

The pre-heat will use the petrol engine as the car sees fit, however, it can only run for 10 minutes in the EU/UK due to regulations (as far as I know).
The app was recently updated to give more control over the pre-heat (e.g. high and low) - see attached screen grab.

So I can preheat the car for 10 mins and get into a nice warm car?
That's fantastic, I though that was only available on cars which plugged in!

Yes!
It is a great trick. The last time I was using it (during frost in March), I ran the 10-minute cycle twice before I left home to drive a nice warm car.
