A bit late for that now.
There's always a next time. Seriously I keep a bottle in the car just in case, it's surprisingly effective.A bit late for that now.
Hope the seagulls weren’t watchingI had a microfibre cloth. That and water did the job. All clean again.
Out of interest, how is Hilda transported? Towbar type rack?

Ta. Exciting times.Inside the car. She only weighs about 13 kg. At night she leans against Caliban's bonnet, secured by a cable and combination lock round a front tyre.
There are photos in another thread.
I have ordered a more powerful e-bike to conquer these Highland passes. God knows how I'm going to get that in, but plan Z is a towbar for a bike rack. Bike should arrive mid-May.
Seriously? That’s insane, mind you from the pictures so far, it’s all blue skies. At least with the bike in the car I don't get any grief (or surcharges) from CalMac. Also, they say not to transport an e-bike on the outside of a car in the rain. Not always easy in Scotland. I suppose you can get covers.
Got that coveredSeriously? That’s insane, mind you from the pictures so far, it’s all blue skies.
You have me hooked. Care to share details? The document says the bike is made to be ridden in the rain and to ride through water (a ford), but the speed of a moving car can force water into places you don't want it to be.
Hilda is in the car so she's fine anyway, and I try to choose fine weather for my expeditions. It's the new bike I'm thinking about, in the annoying event that I can't get it in the car.
@Archev, that deer looks as though it had eyes on your bike, riding off into the sunset with a dandelion flower behind its ear!Got that coveredView attachment 46229
Except a bit of wind blew up that night and I put the cover on back to front![]()
Aye and it’s cycling still@Archev, that deer looks as though it had eyes on your bike, riding off into the sunset with a dandelion flower behind its ear!
