Can you actually us the physical key?

Hi all,

Can you actually use the physical key on the key fob. I can't find a lock to put it in in my 53Kwh Excite?

I've not checked (not been up close to one), but I think there is a flap on one side of the handle?

I might be imagining it

This is the only thing I can find on the underside of the drivers door handle that looks even vaguely lockish!
