I have a brand new HS PHEV that has done 50 miles and since I picked it up it has pulled to the left and is a nightmare to drive as you feel like you are fighting the steering all of the time. I took it back to the main dealer who put it on a lazer alinement machine and they stated that its OK and there was nothing else they can do. I took the car out with one of the service engineers who fought the steering, when we came back he admitted that the car 'wondered to the left' but that because of the weight of the extra battery and motors that this was a 'characteristic of this model'. Im sure when I drove the demonstrator it was OK. To let you know it does it on the Motorway as well as local roads and road camber doesnt really make any difference. The main dealer now wants to take it back and have another go at fixing it but to be honest I purchased a new car because I thought that I was buying something that was built properly, tested and then had a PDI not a car supplied with a dangerous fault to which the Main dealer really isnt interested. Is this normal (im sure its not) and what should I do?
