Car Scanner on the MGS5

Tried this for the first time this evening but without success.
There is an MGS5 profile and it does connect, but the only data coming through seems to be 12V voltage level.
The BT adapter worked fine on my MG5 so I don't think that's the problem
Anyone else had a try?

The connection profile on Car Scanner is already a joint MG4/MGS5 profile.

Which dongle do you use? I was thinking of getting one myself and id rather pay less than what the CX costs if its possible. But i know from experience that some of the ultra cheap ones can be a bit difficult with compatibility for different cars..

What is the best iOS App? All the ones NEXAS describes are very ICE or Hybrid specific, except the one specially for the Leaf.
