i ordered lr trophy in jan changed order to sr tc in april will mg honour the order as there arnt any connects now . so now in limbo like every one waiting i only went for the connect as it had pan roof and sr was £500 cheaper ap on motability now no mg zsev on scheme was only given 3 year on pips so cant change order to another car as need min of 12 months left on pips i have been let down by vw waited over 12 months so went to mg who told me a load of bull as would have a car in april so ive wasted 3 years waiting now lucky i kept hold of my car to be safe kr les

Les - They still have some of the back log of cars to deliver yet.
New orders placed from last month are likely to lose the sun roof, is my understanding.
I think I would have only switched my order for a LR placed in Jan, for an order for a SR - IF it was possible to have the car there and then !.
I would have stuck with the Jan order to be honest.

if they wont honour the connect order il just cancel it and wait untill they bring the mg4 out on motability after ive seen one in real life i do like the mgzs ev tho

Sorry - i thought you had cancelled / switched out the ZS EV LR order for a SR version ?.
If the LR order is still active in your name, then I would keep with it !.
I am assuming your deposit in still in place and you have the original order form ?.

You changed your order from an old style trophy to an old style trophy connect in April, before the July model change. The order should be honoured. MG and dealers have confirmed to multiple people on this forum that they are not changing existing orders to the new model lineup. If you ordered a 'Old spec' Trophy Connect, you will get an Old spec Trophy Connect, with sunroof etc, if at the point of order you ordered a 'New Spec' Trophy, with tinted glass etc.
What WILL have happened is when you changed your order over, you would probably have been put to the back of the queue, so I wouldn't be hopeful that you recieve the vehicle this year.

no it is on motability no dep they just changed order over to the sr tc from trophy

You changed your order from an old style trophy to an old style trophy connect in April, before the July model change. The order should be honoured. The 2021 model trims were Excite and Exclusive.
Then there was the 2022 facelift, that came in SE, Trophy and Trophy Connect, sold from Dec '21 through till June '22. They then stopped all ordered for a bit. In July '22 they revised the facelift, removed the Trophy Connect trim, and modified the Trophy trim to remove the sunroof, and add tinted rear glass and connect features.

From your original post, you mentioned you you changed to a SR Trophy Connect in April. This means they 1) you are likely to have been put to the back of the queue in April and 2) you have ordered what would now be considered an old Style Trophy Connect, so you will get a sunroof and connect features.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, MG are not changing orders post the order being placed so, if at the point you changed your order the new trim ordered was a trophy connect, you are getting a trophy connect. When is anyone’s guess but that’s what you Will be eventually getting.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, MG are not changing orders post the order being placed so, if at the point you changed your order the spec included a sunroof, you are getting a sunroof. The fact that you have said you have a Trophy Connect on order means automatically you are getting a sunroof as the Trophy Connect was discontinued at the same time that they removed the sunroof.

Oh when is a completely guess!!

I ordered a connect in March, my leasing companies current estimate is late December but who knows lol!
