Cruise Control

Went on motorway this morning and tried cruise control, all fine until starting to go on a slight incline then the car started to slow down from setting 60mph to 50mph. At this stage i took it off Anyone experienced this?

Hi Lollipopman, I understand why you maybe posted in this forum as the MG ZS Hybrid+ Forum is very new with little content. Although I have never seen an MG ZS Hybrid+ yet, I guess you will have seen many similarities with the sytems/controls of the MG 3 from the posts in this forum, as many features appear to be the same. Might be a drag but it's probably worth maybe duplicating your questions for now or a least post a link here to your new ZS Hybrid+ posts as members here have probably come across and found answers to these. We are all (well mostly) MG owners so we should share experiences across forums.

Just so that @Lollipopman doesn't get into trouble, there are good reasons why we post in the correct forum, and duplicating posts in multiple forums isn't the way to go here, in fact it's against the forum rules. If you post your MG ZS content in the MG ZS forum, most members will still see it, and if an MG3 owner can help, they will do.

Well the cruise control won't come on at all now and my feelings are up to now 11 days in is its the worst car I have ever bought, hope the dealer can sort it tomorrow.

If it's like the MG3, it can be a bit confusing to use until you get used to it, hopefully the Dealer has some idea.

Decided to leave it until next week and spend all weekend reading up on the manual now I have got the updated version from MG

@Lollipopman if you have the ACC on and get behind someone going slower, it will reduce speed then pick up again when the gap increases, also have you got the distance detector set at the correct gap

Lollipopman, Apart from a few early hicups, does the car drive nice?

It drives ok once you get used to all the safety features, some I take off before we set off like the ACC, LDW, the warning beeps can be annoying but we have got used to them. But I wouldn't have another.

I'm a new owner of an MG 4 Trophy. Despite reading the manual I can't figure out how the cruise control works! The salesman told me to press the steering wheel symbol on the left of the steering wheel but nothing happens. Thanks in advance for any advice Stefan.
