Much as I very much like the Cyberster and intend to buy one when the used prices drop a little, I wish it had been styled more like this car. In my humble opinion this has virtually perfect, timeless styling. Shame they're only making 50 and it's not an EV :(

Looks more like a Targa. I can see MG doing a smaller Targa in future maybe. Not before the coupe though. The Cyberster is styled nice. But im probably not going to wait too long as prices will be steady for a while

Think the Cyberster is a lovely looking motor. But would look Awesome on different wheels and slightly lowered. 🙂👍

Yeah, it is a Targa, must admit I'd prefer that to either the soft top or a coupe. I'd love MG to do a Targa, not something small though, as I like larger cars.

Prices are holding up much more than I expected, still nothing sub 50k as yet.

There was for a few hours £49,999 got taken down quick. A private sale. So my valuation predictions are on course 🤣. Only 300 or so sold in UK so its understandable. Coming up to year 1. I think next summer 45k roughly for the GT with near 15k miles.

They're generally not shifting though at the current pricing, I've been watching the same cars hanging around Autotrader for a while now. I think dropping GT's to £49,950 would shift them now. Good time to buy will be this winter, they'll be down at £45k or so once the crappy weather gets here and everyone is thinking about Christmas.

So what would be a goer for pricing. Mid 40s or under 40k? Itll be hard to justify the incoming Coupe anything above 60k. They should top the coupe at £55k. The black edition roadster if it comes could sell better a bit lower at 55k. Funny enough in Winter I saw a yellow one at Epsom i didnt take a test drive. Theyve had theres for sale for a few months at 58k for brand new.

I made an enquiry on one. I think yellow and Red will sell the quickest.

For me, it's going to have to be £30k or less now as we recently spotted and decided to buy our dream house in the country and it's going to use up a fair chunk of my net worth, so getting a Cyberster is no longer much of a priority! It might be a couple of years away now if I still want one by then. (Unless my portfolio does particularly well, which is looking unlikely whilst the orange loon remains as US chief moron.)

Ex demo, £10k less than the price of a new one

Not bad, a light haggle should squeak it down to a straight £50k too. (Heck, if they want to shift it, a heavy haggle might see it at £48k!)

Only concern on an ex demo with higher miles (for a demo) is that's done a lot of runs with a lot of drivers and probably been thrashed about a lot and might have picked up some stone damage and/or wheel marks. Would need a very thorough looking over.

Not to mention any issues with the seats..

I enquired about this. Said he had a few calls in the short time its been up. The guy didn't get back to me on the figures 😂. He said 8.9% he would send it through it wont hang around thats for sure. Yep £500 off is probably the most youd get. With 15000 down 500 pm should do it.

Or could go HP but its not going to hold value lol..this will be 44k in 12 months. Tbh its not bad depreciation considering other cars.

Some days im looking around other days the MG would do.

As you know we differ in depreciation expectations, I don't think they'll still be anywhere close to as high as £44k after another 12 months, but time will tell who's right. ;)
