DAB Radio

Hi all I have MG3 Hybrid plus and when I'm listening to the DAB Radio the volume keeps fluctuating! I'll be listening and suddenly it goes faint & returns to its previous volume about 10 seconds later. This can happen while driving or when stationary at traffic lights. Very frustrating. Any thoughts, or is there a thread on this?

This post in the ZS forum says that there may be a setting to vary the volume with speed. Perhaps it is adjustable and set to something inappropriate.

Yes it could be the SDV (Speed-dependent volume) setting, I turned mine off because it was quite annoying. Go to settings on the main screen and select volume, then scroll down to SDV.

One other possibility, perhaps? (I don't have a 3 but do occasionally experience this on my pre-facelift 5.)

If the radio is set to automatically receive and present Traffic News, sometimes it reduces the level of the "normal" radio output (also, for me, displaying on the screen a "Traffic News" message) but nothing is heard! Even when the transmitting station is geographically quite near.
