Dangling/Spare USB port?

As part of my Dashcam install today, i noticed that when I got to the fusebox location there’s a dangling USB cable just under the steering wheel.

Anyone else noticed it?

Wondered what it might be for. Perhaps this is where the fabled DAB radio connects….

I’ve attached a photo…

Ordered mine at the beginning of October and got it 23rd December - so pretty good timing I think.

Have the sunroof and tinted windows, and the addon dab radio…

I have the DAB unit not the addon and I still have the USB.

I suspect it's for dealer software updates etc
