Dashcam Issues with Bluetooth

Hi

I have just had a dashcam fitted that was fitted to my previously car and I am having problems with it connecting to bluetooth. The dashcam worked fine with my Google Pixel phone on the previous car but not on the MGS5 I have just purchased. Has anyone had anything similar, as it has connected briefly but only once? The dashcam is recording video, but cannot use the app to see this on my phone?

Is the phone BT connected to the car at the same time? if so, try disconnecting it and then give it a go.
