Hi folks,

I’m new to this forum—in fact, I’m new to any forum— I decided to ditch the Tesla Model Y and the Mercedes CLA 250 Sport Edition and placed an order for the MG IM5 Performance, with expected delivery dates between May 1st–26th. I test drove the long-range version, which was all they had, and was super impressed.

I have two questions: does anyone who already owns an IM5 know if it comes with a built-in dashcam that records both front and rear, or would I need to add one myself? Secondly, does the car come with air suspension and active damping? I know the IM6 does, but when I searched on Google for same on IM5, some sources say it does and others say it doesn’t, so I’m unsure.

It has a dashcam recording the front top of windshield camera, if you put a microSDXC card in (max 128 GB?), nothing on the rear.

No air suspension on IM5 in Europe. Think Australia does, but not us :/ IM5 is a fair bit lower than IM6, at ground clearance. It is comfy setup, nothing sporty. It is a 2,3t car anyway.

Just search the forum for dashcam - Search results for query: dashcam.

Looking at the brochure for the IM5 on the MGUK website there is no air suspension shown.
