Dead DRL

One of the DRLs on my 5sr has failed, as far as I can tell it's a integral part of the light cluster, i.e. I cannot see any way to replace the led strip/s. I suppose there's going to be a controller somewhere?

Anyone had any experience with this yet?

For me this is an academic question, my car is leased and I'll just call them so get it fixed but it would be nice to know if there are after market replacements or parts available.

I think you'll find the whole headlight has to be replaced unless it's an external issue.

I had an idea this might be the case looking at it.
