Disappointed in the rain!

Drove the MG S5 in sustained rain this week must say a little disappointed with a few things.

Windscreen wipers intermittent operation - seems to have a mind of its own and ended up on perm fast wipe in a light drizzle.​

Rear window heater element, bottom three rows either don’t work or are the radio aerial, but will be useless in winter, if there is a freeze as that is where the wiper parks.​

Rear wiper, I knew it was small but need to see if I can find one a couple of inches bigger.​

But the good news, way better than the ZS for not steaming up the front and front side windows even with the fan off, must be some airflow even when the fan is turned off.

Both issues brought forward from the MG5, intermittent on it is exactly as you descibel, seems to have a mind of it's own.
And the bottom elements being the dab antenna confuses a lot of people. It never bothered me as I use the side mirrors almost 100% of the time so it doesn't matter if the bottom of the rear windscreen is frozen..

The MG4 wasn't much better. It's also nice being able to remotely demist the screen via the app instead of having to heat the cabin up to do it.

Is that why DAB reception is such pants?

It is. That's why some cars have shark fins on their roof.
