Discolouration in phone charging pad

Hi All, in the IM 5/6 Facebook group I read about an issue with a green discolouration on the wireless charging pad. According to the comments it's a known (and not uncommon) issue identified during port PDI checks. My IM6 was supposed to be delivered on Monday. Got a call yesterday to say this issue has been identified.durimg the PDI and a replacement centre console cover will need to be installed. Has anyone else experienced a delay for this reason and, if so, what sort of timeframe did the fix entail? Many thanks.

I believe it's to do with the adhesive used but not entirely sure. Here's the Facebook thread:
