Managed to crack my left wing mirror indicator clear plastic thing when getting out of me garage this morning, anyone know if it’s possible to purchase replacement clear plastic thing?

Is this the clear section at the bottom that houses the indicator ?.
I know this section can be replaced on a VW so it maybe similar.
Do you have a picture please.
I have shot an e.mail to my dealer with a hope they will reply.
I will keep you informed if I hear back from them.

I would think it comes separate to the mirror housing. I had to replace one on my Prius+ cost me £15 IIRC. Interestingly the W5W bulb in it was sealed in, so it would have cost the same if the bulb failed.

That's an unusual arrangement. Any technical reason for this that you could see?

Loads of ‘breaking for spares’ ads on eBay. Suspect you might have to buy whole mirror but might be cheaper than dealer price for part.

No, apart from it made it more waterproof I suppose.

Found one at my local MG dealers website£18.90, booked in now to get replaced, I guess the labor will be a lot more than the part!

Have you ordered the correct hand ?.
You first post say’s L/H.
Your link states R/H ????.
L/H - Is Nearside ( Nearest side to the kerb ).
R/H - Is Offside

Hey i am from au. Just wondering if i can replace the indicator covering plastic part of the side mirror (mg zs). Just broken the outer part while reversing from my garage. Is there any possibility for the replacement guys?

I managed to get a whole mirror assembly for my previous Mk1 ZSEV from such a site for not much money. (Three years ago now so can’t remember details). Fortunately it was same colour as the car. Relatively easy fix. Good luck.

Removal of the outer shell of the door mirror, is covered in the link above and you can buy a new cover from a dealer, but I don’t think it will be colour coded.
Failing that, you are looking at buying one from a breakers site in colour.

check out on AliExpress, I've seen just an indicator part on sale but no idea if that was for Mk1 or 2 ZS and how you replace it ...
