The discoveries keep on coming. The car has an e-Sim with a five year subscription. It is used for updates, map data, and a bunch of stuff like YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, etc. I have received one u[date that I know of. it is also a hot spot for internet access with a phone or tablet. It also allows remote access to the car via the MG phone app.

Hi evets. Thanks for the update. Since you mentioned on another post that you use auto android; did you to try to watch anything like the likes of netflix through it on the car's screen?
I cant use it on my tesla and this failed miserably on my wife's BYD.

I use Apple Car Play. I have no idea how Android Auto works. Car Play does not support web browsing, however, the car is a hot spot, so your phone can browse the internet. The apps included in the car’s OS are Spotify, YouTube, Joox, and TikTok. It does support video play from a USB Type C drive to the car’s screen. Videos play only if the car is stopped.
