Ive been quoted £615 to get this installed. Anyone else got it? Does it do what we need for an MG5 and work on Octopus Go rate?

Thanks

Looks like a copy of the EO Mini Pro 2 or maybe the now lesser Mini Pro.

Copywrite or licensed?

Not sure what you mean by copywrite or licensed sorry? I asked about the mini pro 2 and they said that can't be fit because it needs something in addition. This EVCP seems to do everything the pro 2 does though

I mean it looks like a Chinese eBay copy of the EO. The only thing I had extra was an earth rod by choice instead the Gare system one may need, did not want the Solar addon £60 even though we have the panels. So just basic as many friends have got and works well with Octo Go or other.

Guess you spoke with EO so you may well need something different, what has this got that EO hasn't?

They are both supplied by EV chargers UK and do the Pro 2 but they said I have a PME (TNC-S) supply to my property which means we would have to install a MATT:E device which is a large box connected to the fuse board and is not always possible to install. Basically this one is cheaper and easier to install. Included in the price is a single fuse board as I don't have the extra capacity and 2 hours of labour. They probably do the same thing... schedules, solar, small in size Dynamic load management etc.... basically both do what you need, one is easier to install and cheaper... no brainer.

Okay, interesting we learn something everyday. Just Googled and read this so quite complicated and informative. 👍
