I bought two of these on Ebay and they really work. With the key in the Faraday pouch in my pocket, I stood next to the car and pressed the open button on the door handle, and it stayed locked.
I also use a Stoplock Elite on the steering wheel.

No doubt they work. But my X Power won't open, if the key is in the house, even
in the Hall, which is close to the car. It will obviously open pressing the key button, but not the door button. I've got to be stood near the car, for it to open.

After a year of ownership we realised that the door button on the car would be triggered when the keys were in their metal bowl in the porch.

Relay not even required!

Immediately got ourselves a faraday box for all our keys to go in, which blocks the signal.

They would still be able to take your car, they use a laptop and other equipment to pick up the weak signal in the house and relay it to the car. I have a faraday box to put the keys in.
