First 2 months

Well it's just been over 2 months since I purchased my new MG3 in Battersea Blue how's the experience been
1 Fuel economy brilliant
2 stylish looking car
3 good driving position
4 No problems with the hybrid system.
Negative experiences
1 Faulty tailgate strut replaced under warranty
2 loose high level brake light cover rattling and moving about replaced under warranty
3 High level brake light cover now rattling again after 3 days till I can take the car back to the dealership I have had to put pieces of card in the gaps to stop it rattling
I could understand these problems if the car was years old but the build quality was far superior on my 2011 MG6 and my original 2014 MG3 i will see what the dealer says but it could be the shortest time I have owned a MG

To be fair, you seem to really like the car.
The faults, albeit annoying are relatively minor, give them another go at the rattling brake light, see what happens. Stick with it, see how it goes.

Thanks Salty it's a nice car, after my previous MGs which were mostly trouble free it's just makes me wonder what the car will be like in 5 years the cover probably wouldn't rattle if there was seal underneath the cover where it meets the hatch

Hopefully all will be sorted, dont despair I think you have been unlucky as not common known problems. Had mine over a year now and loving it. I had a brand new Honda jazz hybrid which I did not like.

Well the rattling is cured from the rear hatch area it wasn't the high level brake light cover it was the plastic trim covering on the inside where the rear wiper is situated been a few days and the noise hasn't returned
