Just got our new hs phev and came with new car mats, trying to fit them is another matter, it's obvious I'm not doing something correct, has anyone had the same experience but found how to fit them, if so could you possibly share it. I realise the toggle turns to lock them in place but I'm at a loss trying to force them in to lock them?😡.

I had to turn the back on the toggle fixing through 90 degrees first to align them and get them over the catch, then turn the top section to lock them in place.

Managed to fit them OK (eventually), lined them up pushed down hard and it clicked then just turned the toggle, just one that didn't want to play but sorted that with a pair of pliers. Thank you.

Hi Lollipopman
I’m presuming your car was handed over minus the sidesteps that you asked the dealer to remove. Did they make any mention as to whether the removal had been problematic or had required any additional attention given the apparent presence of glue?

Hi Soundman, no they said it was straight forward, I just took them out of the car and put them in the shed with a bag full of bolts Tell you something they are bloody heavy, well chuffed with the car it's so comfortable and my wife loves driving it (unfortunately) just got to get useto it but it's pretty much like our zs hybrid plus. Noticed when on cruise control what ever speed is set it stays at that speed unlike the zs which fluctuated a couple of mph either side. Will put some piccys on tomorrow.

Cheers Lollipopman - thanks for the update. Due to have mine delivered next Tuesday so might investigate then whether I can remove them myself or ask a dealer to do the necessary. Look forward to seeing the pictures!

Very nice! I nearly went with the tan option but the wife wasn't keen  It was a toss-up between the Sterling Silver and the Hampstead Grey. So glad I went with the silver. I noticed in the car's settings that it is described as 'cashmere silver'. I'm also toying with the idea of removing the running boards as they do nothing for the looks and just get in the way when entering/exiting the vehicle. Will probably wait til it's first service though.

A feature I'm impressed with is you can memorise the drivers seat position, it has 3 settings and when you turn off the vehicle and open the door it automatically goes back for ease of getting out and when you get in and turn on it automatically goes to the last position used. There is one particular beep that goes off now and then that i haven't heard when I had the zs but I will persevere and look it up. The drive is superb, so comfortable and one of the gripes on YouTube videos is the suspension being some what "stiff" i personally don't find that, up to now I'm chuffed with the car. And to quote @mgclive "Mrs lollipop" is so chuffed she bought me my new form of transport.🧑‍🦼😡😉
