Front wipers not working

been using my parents’s 2022 marvel R performance the past 2 months. The past week its been snowing alot and once when I was scraping the snow off, I left the front window out and just used the wipers since the snow wasn’t frozen on. What I did not put into thought was the amount of snow that got stuck at the bottom of the wiper blades, now the wipers dont work.
The motor works and all, but they dont move to wipe. I can uploud a video later.

Does anyone know a fix?

I’ve already called the dealership and they can look at the var in a week.

Part of the drive system will have broken. Someone else had the same problem recently (not on a Marvel R IIRC) and they bought a used wiper drive assembly from eBay. My engineering mind tells me that the drive ought to have an easily replaceable weak point (shear pin or similar) to protect it from mechanical overload but I don't know whether this is actually the case.
