I saw "No Jammy Dodgers are left in this van overnight" the other day.......

And a couple of admittedly non-road related but they amused me.

Many years ago (40+) I saw a notice in a harware shop that read "Ears pierced..... while you wait!" (Yes it really was a hardware shop)

And another from the same era (40+years ago) in a drycleaners in the middle of the town "Half price for old-age pensioners on Wednesdays" I had visions of little old ladies going round and round.......
