Just noticed this statement in the Owner's Manual:

Quote - " Privacy (Global Data Service).
Note: After agreeing to the "Privacy Policy", users can turn switch on the Global Data Service and obtain the authorization to use
DVR, Third-party Apps, Map and Voice for 24 months." - my emphasis.

So, how would you interpret this, what happens after 24 months, how do you retain the use of the DVR, voice activation etc? An unrevealed fee to be paid?

Probably a fee as per most cars these days.
