Global opening / closing of windows?

Has anybody discovered if the MG3 has global opening/closing (windows), it's a feature I'll miss if it doesn't have it.

Staggering that SAIC don't have this.

I had Global in my car 2003! and many others since.
Ze Germans mainly.

Global what? Windows via the key fob? If yes then the MG4 does not support this. (Though there's no reason why it can't, just that SAIC/MG haven't coded this). So I'd doubt the MG3+ does.

Yes, its a shame that it doesn't have it, but then again my Clio hadn't got it either. You can, however, turn on the aircon with the App to cool the car down before you get in.

Good point @Deleted member 18108 , I assume you can't open/close the windows with the iSmart app?

Unfortunately not. That would be handy, but the iSmart offers minimal options. It will allow you to lock and unlock the vehicle and turn the aircon on and off. Maybe a future update might allow some extra functionality.

All very good as long as you remember to set it!

The amount of times Global Opening would have been used because I'd forgotten to pre-cool the car are numerous.

Oh well, get back, walking up to the car, tut to myself because I forgot to pre- cool the car (AGAIN) open my door and open all the windows by hand.

Ah for the days of the old quarter vents, great for keeping the car cool and made the car thief's job that bit easier. Then the old wind-up windows and manually adjusted wing mirrors. Top it off with a manually tuned radio, fiberglass whip aerial, go faster stripes, and a colored sun visor.

When wind deflectors appear for this version, fit them and leave the windows slightly open in hot weather.

I can remember double de-clutching an old Morris van! No power steering, squeegee windscreen wipers, semaphore indicators and rock hard suspension. The good old days, eh?
