I feel like this small bit of information should be publicized. It was a real surprise to me when I went to put gov. docs in the glove box when I discovered there was no glove box. There seems to be ample space available, but perhaps the airbags are taking up the room. Not a big deal, but very strange none the less..

It is mentioned in most of the reviews I have see.

Gloveboxes are on the way out. I mean, who uses driving gloves these days? The whole idea is an anachronism.

Storage has migrated to larger boxes between seats and lower centre console areas. Also under-seat boxes have become more popular.

Arguably none of these solutions are well suited to storing A4 documents and laptops. The best I have used in the past are large pockets in the back of front seats, although they don't hide everything and the IM6 does not have them (I think).

A few cars on the market have big storage areas under the rear seats, which is a great idea.

I guess manufactuer's research tells them that people don't often need to store larger items or can just use the boot for this???
