Is that not to increase range? Larger wheel Rim size with lower profile tyre = lower range! Tesla has always stated different ranges for different wheel rim options and I recently saw that Kia also do the same for the new Kia EV6 (AWD) : 19" Wheel option 314 miles 20" Wheel option 304...
