Buckle up guys and gals , 35c and humid blue skies today, tomorrow and Friday and its heading your way, If anyone wants to know what semi - retirements like , this weeks jobs are putting on a 28 square metre flat roof for next weeks delivery of the EPDM , and ear tagging , medicating and shearing 32 sheep, all before it rains.
The MG is in nice shady parking , patiently waiting for some attention / usage ....... not this week , mate! 😴

Not so warm here (yet), and threatening rain.

Another symptom of this mini heatwave, a blob of pine resin has de- leached its self from the car port framework and landed on the roof . I don't want to use White spirit to remove it and soap is no match for natures stickiest product. Open to suggestions. :(

Consequence of mini heatwave part deux. I've heard of this , but up to today never seen it. The road maintenance people have been out in tankers containing what looks like a mixture of chalk and water and spraying it on road surfaces vulnerable to melting or softening in the sun and heat hoping the reflective white surface will minimise the unwanted effects.
As a by product there is less tyre noise making for a quieter run, but for a while a bit more dust, guess who washed the car before setting off? 🤷‍♂️
