Does the MGS5 sold in the UK not have a heatpump?

I thought the heat pump was primarily to heat the battery as well as the cabin.

An explanation of why a heat pump isn't needed in the UK is provided by @Miles Roberts CG in the November podcast at 24:48.

This was interesting.

In Norway, the MGS5 Luxury (Trophy) comes with a heatpump so i found it odd that it was not like this in the UK, but the video makes sense.
I experience some issues with mist and have to run the defroster manually quite often.
I would like for the car to be a bit smarter with detecting the inside humidity and toggle this itself but its not. I have it on my list over things to ask the dealer about the next time im contacting them to see if this is a common issue or not.

listening to the video it seems to be working as it should tho, as when i hit the defroster it turns off the heatpump.

I think there are two different heatpumps. The one for cabin air is usually an air to air heatpump while the one for the battery pack is an air to liquid one i guess. Im not 100% on this, i know ive read about it in the past but the details escape me.
