In the process of getting an MG4, incredibly underwhelming and frustrating experience so far. Sub-par communication, wrong paperwork being sent to sign, lack of updates. Only updates received were from me chasing after days of radio silence.

Having had my MG4 trophy serviced and MOT'd in January I called in today to find why the replacement drivers side door handle which no longer unlocks the car had not arrived. I was told they had no record of this and, furthermore there is no time to do this as the franchise is going to Vosper next month. What a company! They had supplied me originally with the MG4 with a dangerous front wheel which I was only told about when it was returned for a software update. Has anyone had experience with Vosper?

They had supplied me originally with the MG4 with a dangerous front wheel which I was only told about when it was returned for a software update. Has anyone had experience with Vosper?

Different garage but we had to chase our new handle.

Was waiting for them to paint it and book us in. They painted it and just left on their shelf until I questioned the delay a while later.

Just a word of warning to anyone buying an IM5 from Hendy in Poole.
I bought mine at the end of December and have found a fault with the 'car-shaped' key so tried to book it into Hendy who can't do it since their franchise ends at the end of April - hence the give-aways there now for anyone wanting to do a deal (just remember they won't do 'after-service' anything). Franchise now with Penton group (also in Poole) who are happily looking at the key tomorrow morning so I hope they are bending over backwards to impress MG HQ!
Has anyone else had issue with the key?

Yes, it was them, my guess is that they are trying to clear out their stock before the end of the month. Back in October, I achieved a silly discount which makes me wonder who was running the department, but of course I am not complaining.

When I was researching options for a new car back in November some of the deals they were offering were insane, less than Affinity prices and I was seriously tempted to hop on a plane and fly over. Having said that lot to be said for dealing local, this whole thing does make you wonder.

I happened to go into Hendy MG a couple of weeks ago while I was in the area to look at the MG4 Urban and the updated MG 4, and was surprised that every desk there was some sort of negotiation going on with a potential customer.
It also Looks like Penton group have MG at Poole and Christchurch.

Penton group are fantastic, I bought my first EV, an MG4 from Penton Salisbury, now got an MGS5, fabulous service from the group.

Yup, exactly, in my case IM6 launch edition and long range, genuinely for newly launched cars I was going WTF?

Just received the email from Hendy informing me that they will no longer stock MG cars.
It's not at all clear from the email what will happen now.
I'm in year two of a four year PCP contract.

Is it an MG plan through Hendy? If so it's transferable to another MG dealer of your choice, if it's a Hendy plan I have no idea where you stand.

Hendy Poole appears not to be an MG dealer any more. Removed from the map.
