How Is The Wading Depth Affected In An EV?

Not doubt it might. But I for one, won't be trying, it. 🙂👍
I'm with you there. I might watch but it comes under the spectator classification not the participating category, a bit like bungee jumping, wire rope walking, and mountain climbing. Mind you nowadays with my joints running for a bus is a spectator sport 🤣

Running?

It's so long since it did it, I can't remember how...
Don't worry, walking is the new running.

It reminds me of the joke about the young bull & the old bull stood on top of a hill...

Young bull says..."Hey, let's run down there & sh@g one of those cows!"...

Old bull replies..."No lad, let's walk down there & sh@g all of them!"... 🙂

Point about "disguising" words you think might be naughty. Don't do it.

The way the forum is set up, if someone types a word on the (short) list of banned words, the autocensor will catch it and post something else. In this way there is no danger of the member receiving any sort of sanction for breaking the forum's profanity rules. So long as the word is typed in clear with no attempt to circumvent the autocensor.

However, if someone changes the characters in a banned word so that the autocensor doesn't recognise it, and the word is recognisably the banned word when it appears, you will get an infraction for circumventing the autocensor. Thus, posting questionable words with funny characters is a bad idea.

I really don't think "shag" is on the banned list. There we go, it isn't. So don't be shy, if you want to use the word, be bold and upfront about it.

I started using forums many years ago & I selected a self imposed rule. That I wouldn't use any language that I wouldn't use Infront of my Nan.

My post you're picking fault with was a joke. A joke that I attempted to keep as clean as possible whilst not ruining the joke itself.

This reminds me of an incredibly funny story.

I will not use the words, nor omit letters, but will use rhyming words instead where needed.

Bear in mind this is the only time I have ever heard this lady utter these words in my entire life!

We were sitting with my Gran when she was around 90 and we were talking about bad language.

All of a sudden, she said,

"Rhymes with duck, rhymes with mugger, shit, they're all below the belt."

Of course, she meant the old-fashioned meaning of below the belt, but of course, they are all literally below the belt.

Everyone else was shocked, but I just burst out laughing, first because of the below the belt joke, but second because I'd never heard her say anything like that ever before!
