How to restart an app?

Today the Spotify app within the infotainment system has stopped working - it appears to be frozen. I can use Spotify via Apple car play, but I’d rather not use my phone’s data all the time.

I have restarted the infotainment system by holding down the home button and nothing changes.

Is there a way to restart just the Spotify app? I can’t figure out how to do it - google suggests that MG4s have the option to restart a single app but I can’t find the option on my MGS5.

Just bear in mind that with Spotify on your phone, you can download the music so you don't use your data.

With the Spotify app on the car, this will use the data from the car itself, which is only around 1-2 GB a month, once this has been used then everything else such as live traffic and the use of the MG iSmart app will stop working as there is no data left in the car, you would have to wait until the data resets each month.
